It’s depressing to read the story related to domestic violence and that happens at all levels of society throughout the world. Generally, a heartbreaking and touching story that seems to have been stretched at some places. The main character deserved all good things. There is so much hatred in the book that it feels bad after reading it but it shows how this woman faces hardships when she raises her voice.

3.Gone Girl

This novel is a unique study of marriage between perfect couples that proves no longer working or effective.  Both of them lose their jobs due to the global recession. And thus there comes trouble in their stable life and the girl goes missing.  Then start the trend of allegations, inappropriate behavior.  The best part of the novel is that it keeps you guessing throughout with enough twists and turns. Gillian Flynn is a great writer who provides enough punches and surprises in the story. Definitely Recommended...!!!

4. Palace of Illusions

Palace of Illusions is a new perspective of Mahabharata from Draupadi point of view. The story is so amazing and real from the eyes of a woman that you get involved in reading for a very long. The way the author has portrayed the characters of Draupadi, Krishna, Bhima, Arjun and Karna that you fall in love with them. It also depicts the relationships of various Mahabharata characters with Draupadi. In the world of man, how a woman feels the pain in her journey of life. Even being a high profile princess life did not mercy on her.

Overall very refreshing and new version of Mahabharat from women's point of view has been depicted here.

5. Trust Me: a romantic comedy set in Bollywood

It is just like masala movie of Bollywood where there is no strong theme based storyline and you are forced to pass the time.  This book is not meant for serious book lovers but rather for the young teenagers and Bollywood lovers. The language used in the book provides a sour taste and lacks refinement as it is based on sex and drama.

6. The White Tiger by Arvind Saga

This book is remarkable and it depicts the picture of modern India. So much diversity is shown from the poorer slums to the wealthier areas. In the poor slums, people are not able to afford even the basic necessity of life In the shining aspect, westernized Indians work for the American companies and get handsome salaries. Later, they spend a lot at the shopping malls. The book is very deep and multi-layered and its characters also seem as real and recognizable.
