John Grisham Books

A time to kill

One of the finest thriller novel by John Grisham. Worth Reading !!!

The Firm

The firm is a great legal thriller. It shows good examples of how large firms can blackmail and manipulate their employees, how people fight for the justice where there is an environment of fraud and disloyalty.

The Pelican Brief

Full of suspense and entertaining. The thriller that insists the reader to keep turning the pages until the end of the book. Well done..!!!. the book keeps the interest page after page.

Gray Mountain

The story is interesting but it is not John Grisham's finest work like his earlier novels pelican brief and the rainmaker etc. You can not call it as a legal thriller and it would be a big disappointment if any reader likes to see that aspect. It's related to issues of social relevance and environment issues. It could be termed as the adventure of a new lawyer in a small town. It is the dangerous world of coal mining where laws are broken and rules are ignored under the existence of big mafia. Overall, enjoyed reading it.

The Street Lawyer
This is an interesting decent story where a high profile lawyer wants to do something for the homeless. People, in general, do not pay much attention to the homeless but after reading this book one may begin having some sympathy. Great work !!!!

The Last Juror
Another great book by the author from the beginning to end, which kept the reader entertained. It combines the dramatic scenes in the courtroom with the lives, heart, and souls of many colorful characters. Good Work..!!!

The client
The suspense was good, the story was good. It's nice to see that the hero was the 10-year-old boy that kept the attention. Besides these, all the characters were likable.

The runaway jury
Very interesting legal thriller in which jury behaves very strangely from the beginning to the end. Full of Suspense. Again, nice work by John Grisham !!!

The Chambers
Really loved this book. Good characters and nice story line. The main characters filing motions to save his grandfather. The sort of emotions they go through. Really admired the characters of Adam and his grandfather.
The Associate

The king of torts

This is the story related to the subsequent rise and fall of the lawyer. It explains about the tort law and that is presented in very attractive manner. The main character does not want to be greedy and selfish but the circumstances become of such type that he becomes like that. It's not the Grisham style that we found in his other book the street lawyer but the twists and turns in this also story make it Interesting.

The Innocent Man

This is a very surprising nonfiction book by the author that described how an innocent person was convicted of a crime, proved as guilty until he got declared as an innocent. It is the documentary of a high school athlete who got enough talent but later ruined his life with drinking, drugs and other bad habits. Its pity to see how an innocent person spent twelve years in jail white the case went on hold due to lack of evidence in the first trial. As it really happened, it proved to be very horrific and sad.
