My Review of the lowland

This is a great story about brothers, amazing aspects of woman's nature and how societies think. Each page is full of emotions. It displays greatly about how different generations think and how relationships are important, Also, display about the life in Calcutta in India to Rhode Island in America. The events are characters seem so real that it does not look like fiction. Each character finds a particular destination and closure. One of the beautiful things to read and enjoy.

 It’s a very well written novel by Jhumpa Lahiri. It depicts the hardships and struggles of Bengali couple who moves from Calcutta to New York. Then come the story of their son who grows up in America, his cultural adjustments there, his relationship with his parents.  Also, the birth name given to him shapes many events of his life in a very dramatic way.
