1. An unsuitable boy by Karan Johar

Review. The best thing about the author is the way he has written it so honestly.  There were lots of things which were very interesting.  His school days and the way he runs away from school and his father's affection towards him.  His mental frame of mind when his father gets diagnosed with cancer.  His relations with Shahrukh and his family. His first work profile as a costume designer. His relations with various people in the industry and going through the ups and downs of life. His beginning with the films like DDLJ,  and directing his starter films such Kuch Kuch Hota Hei and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum.  His ability to write good speeches and when Shahrukh was in tears when he read the speech for Kuch Kuch Hota Hei, he remembered his own mother.  The comparison between today's generation of actors and the previous ones. There are much more things to say, but that would act as a spoiler.

Overall, an interesting way of expressing things in his life.  While reading,  you do not like to leave the book in between and want to finish it till the end.

2.Playing It My Way: My Autobiography by Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar needs no introduction. So much has been written about his achievements. But it is great to read the book that has been written by him. This states that he is not only a great cricketer but also a great person who has honestly described his personal life apart from cricket life. Apart from it, this book displays his childhood times, some of his memorable incidents of cricket, how to fight with an injury, how to pass through tough times and also describes his matches and stats of his long cricket career.

3.The Story of My Experiments With Truth by Mahatma Gandhi

The writing style is simple. Gandhi ji has honestly provided records of his internal personal struggles. The book depicts the way he dealt with his truth ideology, his political battles, his self-discipline and purity, his understanding of Satyagraha and his habits of becoming vegetarian. The book also states part of his school life, his study years in England and his life ahead in South Africa. If anyone follows his ideologies, he can surely become a better person and lead his life properly with truth and self-discipline.

4. The test of my life by Yuvraj Singh

Review

After reading so much work of fiction, it was nice to read an inspirational book of a true fighter who passed through the tough time. The language of the book is simple, sincere and honest with the loving memories of a cancer survivor. It’s not only the book for book lovers; it could impress the cricket lovers and cancer-fighting patients as well. The way Yuvraj narrates his story about his life and family is an honest attempt to display the pain and suffering.

5. One Life is not Enough by Natwar Singh

Very interesting book to read that depicts the ups and downs of the congress party as well as the life of some current and previous political leaders.

5. I am Malala

This book is a great inspiration for youngsters in the way Malala has shown the courage to fight against terror and then get shot and came out of it so bravely. Her human rights approach and mass support for education were really remarkable. She has impressed the world by speaking out and able to deliver her voice to reach the masses. Her father support also helped her to get the education and face the world bravely. The book also speaks about Pakistan history, politics and the basic environment of her surroundings.

6. The Accidental Prime Minister 



This book is a great learning to know about what happens at the top level in government. How power is seen within the parties, how crucial decisions are taken, how most important decisions of the country are taken and human ambitions come in between. There are a lot of things that present the Indian political view. It's very tedious task for the government to meet the needs of the common man who wants changes in a very short period of time. Apart from this, it shows about the Prime minister terms in UP1 and UPA2. The author has great knowledge and experience. The book is a light read and can engage those also who are not much fond of politics.
